Re: Poll: Best non-Ringwraith Deck

Voted Felagrog, Ardagor, Dragon-lord and Fallen-wizard. Though the latter is questionable as minion. As with the Dark Dwarf, I do not buy into the idea that even Saruman was fully subverted to evil, though admittedly it's a matter of definition, as nothing is black and white. The notion that some Dw...

Re: Poll: Best Ringwraith Deck

Voted Witch-king for thematic (obvious) reasons, and Khamûl, Dwar and Ûvatha for their flexible strategies. Having attempted in ME: The Necromancer to flesh out character for most of the Ringwraiths, I've come to like playing most of them. But the latter 3 offer best options for active and diverse p...

Re: Dutch cards

I think you'd best ask other traders on the general Trades section, many have collected Dutch cards in the past, while there are not many Dutch players active. And most (like myself) never even bothered to get the Dutch cards, as we prefer the English version ;-)

Re: Dutch cards

Kankra is just Shelob in the Dutch version.

And if you find a Dutch Bilbo, you can ask whatever you want  , because as far as we know it was never printed (production mistake leaving it off the printsheet).

Re: A Malady Without Healing

Yes of course 1 CoEOE per card is better, but as you say, if this section is for compiling proposals, issues and suggestions, then add Spies Feared to that list. It's in a similar category. The downside to such a detailed proposal here is that is gives the impression it is a final version, and that ...

Re: LeadFact, What's the deal? (nerfing)

Leave 1 Orc-captain or Troll-chief with a Blazon of the Eye, Awaiting the Call at Cirith Gorgor to bring in some factions and some Trackers. For 2 GI you have a decent shot at 5 MP and fulfilling the faction requirement. Meanwhile your other guys go do cooler stuff. After the factions are played, yo...

Re: LeadFact, What's the deal? (nerfing)

uhm, hmm, , that's a lot of talking! Perhaps you should start a podcast? but if I understand you correctly, you're saying 5 faction MP's for a squatting Leader isn't good enough? Never heard anybody make that case before, but ok, there's a first for everything. your thinking is a bit li...

Re: A Malady Without Healing

Sure, a no-brainer. Though the consensus is such that a CoEOE (Council of Elrond Officil Erratum:-)) is hardly needed. There have been major GO tournaments where nobody objected to Malady decks. On another note, though, about procedure, I thought we would discuss in the ROC which cards/issues would ...

Re: Printer Studio

I've seen printerstudio cards, and since the printing process and cardboard material are different from the original, the trained eye will easily spot that they are not originals. Nevertheless they are quite good proxies. Since making perfect copies of standard cards is obviously illegal, would it n...

Re: Forming Committees - 2017-2019 Term

DCC for obvious reasons.

ROC as well. I've never been obsessed with rules issues, but doing the DC projects, one gets confronted with many inconsistencies, shortcomings and problems with the original ICE rules. So, might as well put that experience to good use.

Re: New Charter Revision - 2018

This language was copied over from the previous 2011 Charter which you and others were involved with.
Indeed, interesting
That interpretation you supply sounds reasonable. Still I wonder why I phrased it this way, could have also been C/P from the previous one.

DC Playmats

Here are the new playmat samples for the ME:NE project. There are 12 possible versions. These are the 6 samples as shown below, and 6 versions of the same mats with only the artwork (+ meccg/dc icons). The versions with deckpiles are named A1 to F1. The versions with only artwork are named A2 to F2....

Re: New Charter Revision - 2018

Charter proposal writes: The number of seats up for election each election shall be eight. The Chair is not up for election. Does this mean the Chair position is held indefinitely by the same person, unless all the others resign? Why formulate it this way? Smells a bit like dictatorship, at least i...
