Re: Middle-earth: The Necromancer

I suppose that some cards with text errors will be reissued correctly ?
Of course.
This concerns very few cards though.
And one is still (and forever) bound to hold on to the first set, or otherwise approach us to look for a new recipient.

The Will of Sauron & Peril Returned

quick question as break from these deep fundamental rules discussions  . The Will of Sauron: " ...Discard this card if Doors of Night leaves play,..." Peril Returned: "If Gates of Morning is not in play, Doors of Night is considered to be in play." So what if Doors of Night leaves play, e.g. t...

Re: Starter Movement and Keying

Ever since players stopped using region cards for movement, starter movement makes little sense. And that was basically the same year metw was released  Hence in DC games we use the rule that a company is considered moving through all regions, when using starter movement. People don't like new...

Re: Balrog decks?

Don't really exist. First off, one does not know one is playing vs. Balrog, you make hazards vs. general minion. Secondly, Balrog decks vary, some are fully Under-deeps, some roam above ground, some have an active Balrog but most a squatting one. In the meta-game, most Balrog decks currently operate...

Re: Indiana Jones deck

Indy decks were popular and successful in the beginning years of the game. It involves grabbing the loot and quickly calling. Typically big MP items and Lucky Searches, at Carn-dum/Mt. Gundabad. For two-deck games (i.e. exhausting at least once), the standard now in tournaments, they are less popula...

wasted space? the one spot on the playmat not covered by cards is the only place you get the see the printed image! you could use it for other stuff, MP's even, separate resources from kill MP, as one usually does. Or a Haven-squatting Ioreth. Point is, people will always have their own prefer...
