Opening of an Italian MECCG Community

Hi there! Would it be possible to open an "Italian MECCG Community" section in the "national councils" subforum besides the French, Dutch and German communities? I'm making this request because our national forum www.meccg.it/forum has been down for a while and the admin is trying to fix it, but sti...

Re: COE Agenda 2010/11 - list of items

I don't know if a new charter is needed. The lack of activity in the past could be due to a wrong approach to the issues. I like Eric's proposal of appointing one CoE member in charge of each issue, who will regularly report to the other members on the status of the project and receive feedback (and...

Re: A Universal Rules Document?

i wouldnt mind to have aneven bigger introduction to the game. but i would like to use it for something else. as soon as the rules file is completed, wi will take up the starter-deck project again and write some simplified rules. too man rules at the beginning is causing frustration rather than mot...

Re: ICE-Era Rulings and Conservatives

I think Nico never said that DC play already left the playtesting process. I always looked at it as such. Well, before this discussions wholly turns into the DC direction we should return to the core of this thread: Would it be o.k. if the CoE would make changes to ICE-era rulings? As said before, ...

Re: ICE-Era Rulings and Conservatives

Some cards and strategies are more powerful than others, and some cards are much more frequent in decks than others. That happens in all CCGs. The same applies for the number of top-competition decks being very restricted. I don't think this is the real problem. No CCG can be 100% perfect, at least...

Re: A Universal Rules Document?

Great job so far!!! I took a quick read at the document but it seems really well done. With addition of pictures, this could be the ultimate document for rules reference. Just a couple of suggestions for improvements: 1. Starting the introduction with a brief overview of MECCG and its background, to...

Re: experts as non-voting members in the COE

- anybody else? The national spokespersons we were talking about in the topic "Charter Amendment (and/or rewrite) Involving Errata" here: http://www.councilofelrond.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1498 By the way, the idea is fine. While the topics are opened, we can invite non-CoE members to take pa...

Re: COE Agenda 2010/11 - list of items

I see this topic is going a little astray from the starting point. Being said that, I consider it as a positive sign, since this shows a great motivation of the current members and a lot of will to do many things. ;) I'll post my 2 cents to bring the topic back to its original purpose. The list is p...
