Re: How can Gollum's Fate ever be used?

Sorry to resurrect this post from so long ago, but I discovered something worth calling out. When Gollum was reprinted for the challenge decks, the word "may" was put in his game text to indicate the ability was optional. So I guess that was errata, in a way?

Re: CardGameGeek - MECCG DB/Deckbuilding

I was checking out challenge decks that you had made on the site, but every time I clicked on a card in a decklist, I just got a blank popup with no information (besides the words "Rarity:", "Price:", and "Set:"). Is this something wrong on my end, or something you could look into? I also get error ...

Re: New Access

This is absolutely incredible. Being a physical player/collector only, I had no idea so much work was going on behind the scenes. Looks like I've got some research and learning to do...

Re: Looking to fill out my Arda cube - any condition is fine

I'm looking to purchase. And while there's no real reason I can't wait that long, I suppose (rules voting is in June, right?), I will be trying to work out deals in the meantime, so my wishlist may have shrunk by the time you get around to it.

MECCG Maps - Complete Schematical Overview

https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/1208 ... -hero-mini

Does anyone know who created these? They're the best maps I've seen for the game, and while I certainly want to share them, I want to give credit where credit is due, of course.

Let the battle commence! Maybe another Balrog set auction record?
It's already up to $460 USD with 9 days left in the auction. This is going to be a trip.

The pommel, hilt, carvings all on a log. I need that art in my house. I can feel the joy of that artist making the picture.
As I was looking up the art of all the cards you listed, I came across this great photo on BoardGameGeek:

Re: Do you have 'one card obsession' ... And why?

I don't know that I have a favorite card as such, but I know I've called out Persuasive Words a number of times for having such perfect artwork. The expressions, posture, and positioning all come together to make the ideal illustration for that scene. https://crystal-cdn1.crystalcommerce.com/photos/...

Re: Sets and card lots for sale on eBay

Well, if this doesn't make me glad I completed my collection when I did, nothing will. Those final prices are insane.

Re: The 'Top Ten' Rarest MECCG cards

For English cards, would you rank the most highly desired Balrog cards (e.g Longbottom Leaf) more highly than the AtS most highly desired R1s (e.g. Farmer maggot)? This is a difficult one for me. I can't say for sure, but I believe Longbottom Leaf is a very desirable card for competitive deckbuildi...

Re: The 'Top Ten' Rarest MECCG cards

I can't speak to any of the foreign language cards, but I do know it's usually not a good idea to use prices based on out of stock items. The seller often hasn't had additional stock come in for a long while, so they've had no reason to increase the price.

Re: CardGameGeek - MECCG DB/Deckbuilding

I don't really have anything to offer in return, but feel free to link to any of the MECCG videos on my YouTube channel if you want content for your site. For now, I think it's mostly (if not entirely) booster openings, but I am working on a series of video tutorials that should go up over the next ...
