Re: Region Movement - 2 Companies Travelling to the Same Site

Unfortunately, The Balrog Rules PDF found on the home page only shows a portion of this rules booklet released with The Balrog Expansion (just the Balrog specific rules). So you will need to view the physical book to see the passage. How much trouble would it be to get decent scans of the physical ...

Re: Sideboard Theories

On a complete tangent, I couldn't help but notice that the link you provided also covers this historically very sad article:

Re: URD & LE Manifestations

Regarding A Malady Without Healing: You cannot target an opponent's character or resources with your own resources. This is unambiguous. Nothing on Malady overrides that. I have been consistently and repeatedly assured by various NetRep teams that a card must explicitly override the rules or the ru...

Re: FW Dunk Deck?

Cool, thanks! It's a bummer that it's so easy to shut down, though. Obviously, this strategy shouldn't be too strong, but it'd be nice if it at least had a fighting chance.

Re: CardGameGeek - MECCG DB/Deckbuilding

A couple of suggestions to improve the deck building feature. In addition to an easy-to-find toggle to turn "off" virtual/DC sets, it would be nice to have an alignment filter near the top: minion, hero, neutral (for hazards), dual, stage, other. Right now, for example, if I search for magic rings, ...

FW Dunk Deck?

Does anyone have an example of a fallen-wizard deck that uses A New Ringlord? If not, which do you think would be the strongest wizard to build around?

Re: Indiana Jones deck

Is there a viable minion version of this strategy? Because big trolls wielding big, pointy weapons is also quite fun :D

Re: Meccg products value (Full sets, c/u/f sets)

You might get better value for the R1s if you list them separately from the lot.

Re: Meccg products value (Full sets, c/u/f sets)

This, IMO, is what makes Maggot the hardest to find. I value the other 8 roughly equally - all of them can be played with casually, but none are especially useful for most decks. This is probably true, though of the remaining 8 I believe thatAngmarim and Earcaraxe Roused are definitely the most pla...

Re: DC Playmat: Samples

1) B, C, and F (though nice choices all around)
2) C (though A is ok)
3) I prefer the text
4) Yes, Yes
5) I'd prefer the maps were printed borderless, i.e. the art would run all the way to the edge. Unless there is a really slick border that someone wants to design.

Re: International shipping options from the USA

It's a real pain that the price ships from about $2 to almost $14, with nothing in the middle. If I want to trade an R1 for another R1 with someone in Europe, $13.50 seems hardly worth the trouble, but it also seems dangerous to risk a ~$40 card to the whims of the postal system.

Re: Most sought after cards

From Lidless Eye, there's a long list of in-demand cards, especially since I.C.E. made so many utility cards rare. I'd add to your list, at the least: We Have Come to Kill Heedless Revelry Chill Them with Fear Uruk-lieutenant Also sought after: Any of the Unleashed cards, especially Witch-king, Akho...

International shipping options from the USA

What's the best way to ship a low volume of high-value cards from the USA to an international recipient (e.g. in Europe)? All the options with tracking that I see with US Postal Service are extremely expensive. I can of course just send a couple of cards in a hard plastic sleeve in a normal letter e...
